
Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, received in a working meeting the Secretary General of the Red Cross in the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Sait Saiti. On this occasion, the Rector of the UT emphasized that the University of Tetova, in addition to its educational and scientific activity, has always cooperated with other institutions from our country and beyond, as well as with various local and international organizations.
Additionally, the Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli emphasized that in North Macedonia, the Red Cross has played an important role in providing humanitarian aid, including the distribution of food, clothing, medicine, and assistance to those affected by natural disasters, as well as to those in difficult social conditions. The University of Tetova has always responded in the past to the calls of the Red Cross in various humanitarian actions and will always be ready to contribute with the resources and capacities it possesses to help.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Red Cross, Mr. Sait Saiti, said that this year the Red Cross in the Republic of North Macedonia is celebrating the 80th anniversary of its founding and a series of activities will be carried out to make this jubilee more remarkable. It is also planned, in cooperation with the University of Tetova, to organize a debate with representatives of both institutions, where the activities of the Red Cross and the expression of humanitarianism in general are expected to be discussed.
Among other things, the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Secretary General of the Red Cross, Mr. Sait Saiti, also discussed the implementation of several other activities in the future, with the aim of involving students in humanitarian actions.
